Applications:

  • PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers.  Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew.  Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport.  This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
  • Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer.  Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2.  Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.

One of the questions that arises on these type of carb caps, is… does it work with both liquid and gas posts?  Some models are universal fit and some work only with gas posts.  For draft line cleaning projects to work well, at least in my opinion, the carb cap that’s used needs to be universal.  I’m happy to report that the one I received did indeed work with both liquid and ball lock posts.  Check the product description for current specs.

A six gallon food grade bucket for fermentation or bottling with a built in spigot.  Outlet barb accepts 3/8″ ID vinyl tubing.  To use as a fermenter you will need to pick up the optional lid, stopper, and an airlock.  Includes our new Sediment Block Spigot, which will help minimize trub uptake as you rack after fermentation.  If using this as a bottling bucket, simply rotate the spigot to maximize product output.  Spigot includes gasket and sediment blocking lock nut and can easily be removed for cleaning and sanitizing.

If you use the bucket for fermentation be sure to use care when cleaning. Do not use any abrasive pads that would scratch. Once you get a scratch in a plastic bucket it is very hard to sanitize.  This is also why we don’t recommend storing equipment in a bucket between uses as a fermenter. A hot PBW soak is often a perfect way to clean a bucket, followed by a Star San soak for killing bacteria.

Please note:

  • Buckets are translucent and do not come with lids.
  • Buckets are not designed to hold pressure.
  • Lids are not gasketed and so do not always form a perfect, airtight seal. Not intended for long-term storage.
  • Food-Grade to 180° F

The KegLand Cannular can seamer is one of the most compact and easy to use benchtop can seamers around. With a single operator you can seam/seal the cans in under 5 seconds meaning this compact machine is suitable for small breweries or brewpubs doing small production runs. The Cannular comes with a die for a size 202 beer can lid.  Additional dies will be available in the future, but for right now, only cans with a size 202 lid can be canned on this machine.

SAFE 24 VOLT POWER (OPTIONAL) If you have ever used a can seamer you would know that you can sometimes spill liquids while processing cans. As a result we have made the Cannular machine with 24v DC so even when you make a mess you don’t have a risk of electrocuting yourself. This also makes the machine easier to clean and wash down. An optional step down transformer plugs into any 110 volt outlet. If you do not purchase this optional transformer, you need to get an Anderson Plug twin wire lead so you can feed power into the Cannular Canning Machine.  Suitable DC power sources besides transformers include cordless drill batteries, and even car batteries.

Applications:

  • PET Bottles as Growlers: These are generally intended to convert 1L and 2L bottles to growlers.  Fill up a 1L or 2L PET bottle with your favorite homebrew.  Put one of these on (purge the headspace by squeezing if you want to) and then pressurize for transport.  This should help to reduce oxygen pickup and maintain carbonation levels.
  • Fine tune or rapidly carbonate beer: You can also use this cap to rapidly carbonate beer.  Same process as for transport, just set your regulator to the proper pressure and shake or agitate the PET bottle to help introduce CO2.  Or hook it up to CO2 and let it sit in you kegerator.

Some carbonation cap models are universal fit and some work only with gas posts.  For draft line cleaning projects to work well, at least in my opinion, the carb cap that’s used needs to be universal. As of this posting, the product page says this works with both liquid and ball lock posts.  Check the product description for current specs.
