Free Extended Warranty: Home Brew Supply is so confident in these regulators that they include an additional extended warranty.  If you buy one of these from HBS for homebrew use you’ll get a total of two years.  Check out the details on any Taprite regulator product page.

Why?  Secondary Regulators work in tandem with a primary CO2 regulator.  The primary feeds the secondaries.  This allows you to set multiple pressures for the purpose of maintaining different carbonation levels, force carbonating more quickly with a higher pressure or keeping a utility line that uses a lower or higher pressure compared to your house pressure.  Generally speaking, you’ll set your primary to the highest pressure you want to use and then feed the the secondary from there.  If you tee off of the run between your primary and secondary, you can squeeze another pressure option out of the system.
