Two row spring malted barley for the production of quality grain whiskey. Chateau Distilling is gently kilned to preserve enzymes for complete starch conversion and maximum fermentability. Use in any type of whiskey, up to 100% of the mash. For Scotch whiskey, use straight or blend with 20 to 30% Chateau Whisky malt for a more peaty character. This will produce a wort color of approximately 2.5° Lovibond.
