New 5 Gallon American Oak Barrel
These amazing, high-quality barrels are constructed of American oak and have a medium char on the inside. Virgin oak barrels are a blank canvas and perfect for mellowing and enhancing the flavors of whiskey, bourbon, rum, tequila, scotch, brandy, cognac, red wine and vinegar. Let your imagination run wild! Many beers can also benefit from being oaked – especially IPAs.
You will receive good, fresh, wet, leak and “bug” free barrels. Each barrel is carefully checked to ensure that it meets your expectations. Please inspect your barrels on delivery and to inform us of any problem(s) that you may observe. The physical condition of the barrels must be verified on delivery. Customers have five business days in which to report any issue with their barrels.
