These are a great option for grain storage.  They fit on top of a standard 5 gallon bucket and provide and airtight seal.  An outer ring snaps on the bucket.  The inner portion of the lid screws on and off for easy access to grain.  The general rule of thumb is... a 50 lb sack of grain will fit in two 5 gallon buckets.

I use this for temporarily labeling items in the brewery.  Stays on but removes easily when necessary.

Wax pencils allow you to write (and wipe off) most surfaces.  I use one of these every time I want to keep track of pressure on my co2 gauge.  I place a mark where the needle is, that way I can tell if anything has changed the next time I look at the gauge.
