  1. Belgian Tex

    We purchased one of these last August at a local outdoors store for $159.99. I wanted to give it a run before providing feedback. We have done several all grain brew sessions on this and this thing works great.

    Pro:
    * Easy to setup
    * Cheap
    * Sufficient power for our needs
    * Sturdy enough to hold our two keggles when they’re full (HLT & BK). I wouldn’t bump into it too much, but it holds up.

    Con:
    * The height isn’t really sufficient to completely work with gravity alone without lifting vessels. Filling the mashtun and then from MLT to BK would require some lifting. If you have a pump, this is obviously not an issue.
    * Some paint will come off pretty much right away. It’s definitely cheap quality, so if you plan to store it outside, some good high temp paint is recommended.

    Conclusion:
    For the money, this is a great and economical setup compared to many other frames out there.

    Note that the low price quoted here is in the “More Buying Choice” sidebar. It also shows shipping “within 1 to 2 months.” Hope nobody has immediate plans for it.
