    I just got the 2 probe model. I gotta say that the range is more like 25-50 ft. That is with a Bluetooth 4.0 smart phone.

    This is also =/- 2-4 deg C depending on the temp range.

    All that said it was great for monitoring my strike water in the garage while I was in the kitchen. Nice thing to have on a cold day.

    Does anyone know what type of sensor is in the probe? It would be nice to swap out the probe with a straight one so I could put it in a thermowell.

    Bummer that it’s not waterproof. I use (and LOVE) a Supermechanical Range thermometer, but I’m afraid it’s going to be obsolete before long since Apple did away with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
