From HBF: Make sure the components you use are compatible and rated for your intended application.  Contact manufacturer with questions about suitability or a specific application.  Always read and follow manufacturer directions.

Potential Uses: Convert to fermenters (search Amazon for food grade grommets) and for grain storage.  My general rule of thumb for unmilled grain storage is 5 lbs per gallon.  At that rate, these would each hold 25 lbs of grain.  That’s an estimate, actual capacity will vary.  Additional uses could include – assist with cleaning and sanitizing items and generally lugging stuff around.

As of this posting, the specifications for this bucket are showing that it is hot fill capable up to 190 deg F. Check product page for current specs. Always use caution when handling hot liquids and equipment.
