This, in my opinion, has a massive capacity of 660 lb. I also like the fact that it has the TARE feature. That basically allows you to subtract the weight of your container. I also like the fact that is has a large platform and an elevated display. That allows you to weigh something like a bucket of grain without blocking the display.
An obvious use for this is as a grain scale to weigh grain bills on brew day. It also has a large enough capacity and platform to weigh homebrew kegs as they are being filled. Simple tare the scale after putting on your keg, fill a keg with beer to your desired level and record the weight. For subsequent kegs you can fill to the same weight with little concern about overfilling kegs.
