MFL vs Barbed for Gas Lines? Personally, I prefer barbed connections for gas lines. To me, it’s more likely that an MFL connection could work it’s way loose enough to be the source of an invisible CO2 gas leak. Even a small leak can = an empty tank. I think it’s less likely that tubing secured to a barb with a properly fitting worm clamp or oetiker clamp. Also: Oetiker Stepless Clamps for Kegerator Gas and Beer Lines
