This type of sale is one of just a couple ways to get around MAP pricing.  MAP = Minimum Advertised Price.  It’s an agreement that some manufacturers have with retailers to maintain a minimum price.  That’s why a Blichmann Boilermaker is about the same price everywhere.  Other MAP lines and products include Anvil, SS Brewtech, Grainfather and the Mark II Keg and Carboy Washer.
