I don’t use the “free” stuff and my plastic smells like plastic when I’m done cleaning/rinsing it.
Any tubing or plastic you soak in the scented stuff will smell like the scent afterwards. Not sure it’ll transfer to your beer, but I keep away from it anyway.
The scented stuff works fine for homebrewing too. You’re not actually brewing with it are you? Just rinse your equipment well like you would after using any cleaner or soap.
Depending on where you’re at in the U.S., Menard’s stores have the 7.22lb containers on sale for $11 right now too.
Dude, only the one marked “FREE” is the dye and fragrance-free one. The 7.2lb you DO NOT WANT TO USE FOR HOMEBREWING.
They also have 7.2 pounds for $13.67
