In my opinion this is not a direct one to one replacement for something like a Chugger Pump or a March Pump – the flow rate just isn’t there. If you’re looking for a budget, full featured homebrew pump, consider the MARK II WORT PUMP – via William’s Brewing or check out our pump resource page. I do see some possible homebrewing applications including… Transferring wort, mash or sparge water within your system, recirculating mash to help keep a consistent temperature and recirculating wort for chilling.

Meh, you can find 24v pumps that have a higher flow rate. They’ve been used a lot on the homebrew forums and have been investigated into their food safeness. Little tan pumps made in China, you can find them on Ebay, usually called solar heated water pumps

outlet is only 1/4″ diameter
