Considering this scale’s size and features it looks like it would make a good grain scale… Large 110 lb capacity, Remote display unit with 18″ cord (means you can weigh larger things and still see the display), nice sized weighing platform and the requisite (in my opinion) tare feature.  Tare allows you to essentially subtract the weight of the container to get a true reading on contents.  Add the container you’re going to use, hit tare to zero out the scale and then add you ingredients.
