The PicoBrew Zymatic is an automated electric brew house. Plug in your recipe and it takes care of the mash, hop additions and the boil. Control and monitor your brew via wifi or ethernet via PicoBrew’s website. When you’re done, toss the grain and hops containers into the dishwasher.
The Zymatic also offers… repeatability. Ever brew a beer that you loved only to fall short the next time? Plug in the brew day or pull up a saved recipe and repeat the same beer every time with the Zymatic.
As of this posting, the Zymatic is under MAP pricing. That translates to Minimum Advertising Pricing and pretty much means that everyone will have this for about the same price. Retailers cannot publicly discount this unit.
Backdoor deal – If you purchase the Picobrew from Adventures in Homebrewing, you’ll get the equivalent of 5% back via AIH’s Rewards Program. This equates to about $100 back. They are also offering free shipping. Shipping (for my address is $160) direct from PicoBrew.
All in all this constitutes $250+ in savings vs direct. This is the best overall deal that I’m aware of. Check product page for current price and availability.

I’ve owned a 5.3 gallon Speidel fermenter since October of 2011. I use it for small batch BIAB beers. I’ve been very impressed with that fermenter. More recently, I picked up the 7.9 gallon version so that I can ferment full 5 gallon batches with all the same advantages. This is a hands on review of both fermenters.
