Buy a Mark II 12 GPM Wort Pump [12 GPM!] and Get $44 in free drinkware

Mark II Homebrew Pump via William’s Brewing

from William’s Brewing:  “The 65 Watt MKII Pump from Keg King is a magnetic drive high temperature pump capable of pumping hot wort at temperatures of up to 248° F. It can pump up to 12 gallons per minute, making it perfect for systems too large for the 5 gallon per minute 25 Watt MK11 or the 7 gallon per minute Riptide pump. The maximum height it can pump is 17’ although gallons per minute will be reduced at higher pumping elevations.

The pump head and impeller are constructed of food grade Xarec plastic (very similar to Polysulphone). The magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back pressure on the pump to slow down flow. Like all magnetic drive wort pumps, it is not self priming – you must flood the pump head before turning on the pump. The pump has ¾” BSP male fittings on the inlet and outlet, which are compatible with all ¾” female NPT as well as BSP fittings. The inlet is in the center. Besides Xarec plastic, other wetted interior materials are nitrile and stainless steel.

The magnetic drive ensures no lubricated bearings are in contact with the liquid at all, so you can be sure there is no chance of any contamination of the liquid being pumped. The pump features a 6′ power cord, and a mounting plate for permanent mounting. The pump is 11” in overall length, and 4½” wide including the mounting plate. The pump head can be mounted at any angle on the pump to fit your application (an optional stainless head, William’s item X69, is also available).

Shop around and compare, other wort pumps that do 12 gallons per minute and more start at $379.99!

As of this posting, the pump with polysulfone head is selling for $199.99  A Stainless Steel upgrade is also available on the product page.  Check William’s Brewing for current price and availability.

Announcing: The Pumpzilla Brewing Pump with Stainless Steel Head

PUMPZILLA BREWING PUMP WITH STAINLESS STEEL HEAD

PUMPZILLA BREWING PUMP WITH STAINLESS STEEL HEAD via Great Fermentations

From the product description, check product page for current description, price and availability:

Get pumped with the Pumpzilla Brewing Pump, only available at Great Fermentations. The Pumpzilla is a great addition to your brewing setup, and is designed to make your brew day easier. The Pumpzilla is perfect for recirculating, whirlpooling, or simply moving wort from one vessel to another. It can handle liquids up to 100C / 212F degrees which makes it perfect to use on all steps of the brewing process.

The Pumpzilla features a stainless steel head which is the best material to use for brewing. A lot of brewing pumps in this price range have polysulfone (plastic) heads. The majority of the fittings you attach to your pump are stainless steel, and overtime those polysulfone threads will wear down from the constant screwing and unscrewing of stainless steel fittings. That’s why we use a stainless steel head with the Pumpzilla.

  • Stainless Steel head
  • Can be set on a flat surface by itself without tipping over
  • Quiet Operation
  • Center inlet design makes it easy to prime this pump as the head is easily flooded with wort
  • Inlet and outlet fittings are 1/2 in. female NPT so they will work with any of your standard homebrew fittings
  • Water resistant (not proof!) casing
  • 5 ft. Cord
  • Max Flow – 5 Gal / 19L per minute
  • Max Lift – 11 ft
  • Heat Rating: 100C (212F)
  • Voltage – 120v 60Hz
  • Current – 0.75A

As of this posting, Great Fermentations has this for just $79.99. Price, promotions and availability can change quickly.  Please note that product prices and availability are subject to change. Announcing: Chugger X-Dry Series Pump via MoreBeer!

Chugger X-Dry Series Pump - Stainless Steel H332X

Chugger X-Dry Series Pump  Stainless Steel from MoreBeer

From the product description, check product page for current description, price and availability:

Introducing the X-Dry Series Chugger Pumps! These pumps offer the same great quality we’ve come to expect from Chugger, but now feature Run-Dry Protection. Although the Chugger still needs to be primed before each use, the X-Dry Series offers a new level of protection from damage due to cavitation.

The Chugger lineup of pumps represents a great value for an even better price. These pumps are workhorses in the brewery. Featuring a robust flow rate of 7 gpm, and a magnetic drive designed to handle back-pressure, these pumps are a great addition to any brewing setup! The Stainless Steel Chugger showcases their molded Stainless Steel Pump Head. This stainless pump is a steal for the price, and we’ve been more than happy with the quality! Use this to ease transfers between kettles, cool wort via a counterflow chiller, or recirculate icewater for quicker chilling!

The Chugger pump has 1/2″ mpt inlet and outlet, allowing easy configuration for any application! We recommend setting these pumps up with a Ball valve on the outflow side, this way you can throttle down the outgoing flow rate, allowing for more efficient sparges or cooling! The pump head can also be rotated 360° (in 90° intervals) allowing for even more customization!

Features:

  • Run Dry Carbon Bearing
  • Stainless Steel Pump Head
  • Food Grade up to 250° F
  • 1/2″ mpt inlet and outlet
  • High Flow rate of 7 gpm

Shurflo Self Priming Diaphragm Pump for Beer Transfers – $144, Save $26 + Free Shipping

Self-Priming Diaphragm Pump for Beer Transfers

Self-Priming Diaphragm Pump for Beer Transfers via MoreBeer

More Info

From the product description, check product page for current description, price and availability:

The ultimate pump for home winemaking use. Self-priming (will push air) so that it can draw out of a tank. Gentle diaphram action so as to not “beat up” the wine. Made of food-grade, NSF approved, materials polypropylene and santoprene, so no metallic interaction with wine. Pumps 3 gallons per minute. Flow can be restricted with an inline valve positioned on the outflow side. Self-regulating motor is designed to temporarily shut down, and then turn back on, when restriction pressure exceeds pump capacity. Has a heat limitation of 125 degrees Fahrenheit so cannot be used in brewing applications.

Pump is equipped with 1/2″ Male NPT posts on the inlet and outlet. Does not include the plastic barb fittings you will need to purchase separately. Please see the “You Might Also Need” section below for our recommendations regarding which fittings to attach to the pump.

Please Note: The diaphragms in this pump are very sensitive to sediment and particulates and can be damaged if any solids are taken into the pump head. We recommend using an Inline Pre-Filter (FIL26) if you think there’s a risk of sucking up solids with your inlet hose (pumping during pressing, for instance).
