Flow control is especially important in a keg faucet, which does not have 4′ of 3/16″ interior diameter tubing to minimize foaming.* Just dial back the lever to provide more flow resistance in case of excess foaming during dispense. Like all Nukatap faucets, this is also forward sealing, to prevent the faucet body from drying out between pours.

Now resdesigned with a one piece ball lock shank, which eliminates the tendency of a keg faucet to swivel. The faucet cannot swivel as the splines on the ball lock shank hold it securely in position.

*Flow control is most valuable when you have an overcarbonated or agitated keg, which typically happens more with commercial kegs. If you are dispensing home brew you probably have control over the carbonation level, and the keg probably has not been shaken up by a trip to the liquor store, making flow control less valuable.

The best deal we have ever found in a highly efficient counterflow chiller! This 25′ pure copper pipe unit features 3/8″ hose barbs for wort and quick disconnect hose fittings for cooling water. It is an extremely efficient chiller, capable of chilling 5 gallon batches in one pass, as long as your cooling water is 60° F. or less. Easier to clean than a plate chiller, and much more efficient than an immersion chiller. This can be pump or gravity fed.

For the water inlet and outlet, you can purchase our optional Cooling Connection Kit item Q74 or use common garden hoses with Melnor quick disconnect fittings. For the wort inlet and outlet, the chiller has 3/8″ outer diameter hose barbs, use 3/8″ silicone tubing like our item J46 (not included). As this is a counterflow chiller, be sure to connect the cooling water inlet to the same end as the cooled wort outlet. 9¾” diameter, 10” tall.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The outer cooling jacket is not designed to withstand high pressure, so do not connect this to your house water pressure without the outlet of the chiller being open.

The Top Draw® Keg Lid Beer Pick Up Tube fits any homebrew keg with an oval lid, and includes a beer ball lock with a Top Draw Beer Pick Up Tube in the lid.
