“The Brewer’s Edge® Micro Regulator combines the precision of a Mini Regulator, with the portability of a simple gas injector. Featuring a 0-30 PSI range, precisely adjustable with the calibrated top knob. Best of all, it takes all standard 16 gram threaded and 74 gram threaded C02 cartridges, so you have the choice of a lightweight compact unit with the 16 gram, or a high capacity unit with the 74 gram cartridge. Lightweight aluminum construction means the total weight is just a hare under 5 ounces.
Features a 0-30 psi C02 regulator that features precise adjustment via the calibrated top adjustment knob. It features a inline stainless check valve between the regulator and the ball lock fitting to protect it from backflowing beer. With this 0-30 PSI model, you can both dispense and force carbonate. Includes a ¼ female flare fitting, to fit threaded gas ball lock disconnects and the Ultimate Growler Dispensing Head.
The flared outlet on the side that goes to the stainless ball lock fitting can be unscrewed and leaves a 1/8″ female NPT port. Into this port you can screw any 1/8″ NPT male thread hose barb or threaded outlet (such as our item I80).”
Uses for Mini CO2 Regulators- Portable Serving: As an on-the-go regulator.
- Backup – I’m out of CO2 and I want to pour a beer! Use as a backup if your main CO2 tank runs out. Swap out the CO2 line for this regulator and you’ve got a temporary solution to keep you up and going until you can get more CO2.
- Serve Beers at Alternate Carbonation Levels: This regulator goes up to 30 PSI. That’s plenty to serve high carbonation beers like Hefeweizens and Belgians. If you don’t have a dual or triple pressure setup, you could use this regulator to serve beers at higher pressures. I would not suggest force carbonation with this unit. The 74g cartridges would be pricey. You could carbonate using your existing regulator or just as easily naturally carbonate with priming sugar. After the beer is completely carbonated, use this to serve at the higher pressure.
