The new Topsflo TD5 DC brewing pump comes with all the power you’ve come to expect for your liquid transfer needs with safe low voltage DC power and whisper quiet operation. It’s small enough and light enough to be direct mounted to kettle drains but it also comes with a molded rubber mounting bracket if you want to attach it to your brew stand. It also includes the 120vAC to 24vDC adapter so it’s ready to go out of the box after you add your favorite hose connections.

    Just picked this up after Black Friday. It’s so quiet it’s hard to tell when it’s on. Posted a quick comparison to my center feed Chugger here:

    I’ve had one brew day with it and it performed well. Still figuring out the priming configuration. The biggest downside in my opinion is the mounting bracket. While the soft rubber materials is great for dampening any noise / friction from the pump it’s too soft. When you’ve to the weight of all your fittings on the pumphead it tends to skew the pump at an angle which might cause cavitation. It might help to have two of the same mounts at the front and rear of the pump but not sure if this is something that could be ordered directly from Tospflo.
