67 Quart Airtight Storage Container from IRIS. Airtight lid. Wide opening for easy access. Clear sides to see contents. 4 Casters for easily moving this around.
The product description says this holds up to 55 lbs of pet food. My rule of thumb on pet food to grain conversion is based on the Vittles Vault II containers. Those hold 40 lbs of pet food, but generally hold 50 lbs of grain. That’s 1.25 lbs of grain per lb of pet food. Using that conversion this should hold around 68.75 lbs of grain.
My volume rule of them is about 5 lbs per gallon. 67 quarts = 16.75 gallons. 10 Gallons holds about 50 lbs of grain so 67 quarts should hold about 82.75 lbs of grain.
So… I estimate this holes between 68.75 and 82.75 lbs of grain. Either way… it should easily hold a full 50 to 55 lb bag.
