Blichmann Engineering made a number of product announcements at this year’s National Homebrewer’s Conference. One of those was their new Boil Coil electric element. I had a chance to take a close look at this and like many of John Blichmann’s creations it’s very well thought out. It requires only two 5/8″ holes to be drilled in your existing BoilerMaker Kettle and it has a custom designed plug so that you won’t always have a cord dangling from your kettle. It’s available in both 120 and 240 volt versions.
I found these in stock at both Adventures in Homebrewing and More Beer
I was also able to watch John Blichmann do a brew demonstration on his new BrewEasy System. It’s a very cool two vessel K-RIMS System. Compact footprint and again, very well thought out. I was struck by how genuinely excited John seemed about brewing. He’s a very smart guy that loves homebrewing. His thoughtfulness and intelligence shine through in this design. I was also happy to get the opportunity to share a few beers with some of the guys from Blichmann. Hey Tom.
More Beer has these up. Two of the three Turn Key Systems are in stock. Check it out – Here
The new RIMS-Rocket is an immersion heating coil that uses the HopRocket canister to give you a RIMS (Recirculating Infusion Mash System) Heater. You can use your existing Hop Rocket as the canister or a package is available that includes the canister.
I found these available both at More Beer and Adventures in Homebrewing
