Anyway, this is a record low Amazon price for the ET732. Earlier in the year it was selling for $69.95. I think this would be a nice unit to remotely monitor mash temperature.

How do you mount your probe in the mash without getting the wires wet? (Get your mind out of the gutter) I have this unit for BBQing and it is great, but have had one probe go bad after it was left in the rain.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't submerge the entire probe. You would need to position the wire so that it holds the probe in place without the entire thing going in. It would depend on what kind of mash tun you were using too.
