Kegs are guaranteed to hold pressure.  

The lids on these kegs are pin lock style, meaning they do not have a manual pressure relief valve.  The do have a safety pressure relief vale.  These are the same type of lids that pin lock keg users use every day.  If you need to relieve gas pressure, just depress the gas post.

  1. I've ordered the 4 keg lot from Adventures in Homebrewing, and the kegs are in pretty good shape. 2 were better, but all 4 were good. One downer: 3 out of 4 were root beer kegs... hard to get the smell out, but once you do they're great!

  2. The kegco kegs have some bad reviews on other homebrewing sites... people say the dip tube leaves around 20 oz of beer in the bottom of the kegs. Anyone buy these new 'updated' versions and see if that is still the case?
