EDIT: This has gone to $43.45 Shipped. That's a 79% discount and $7.24 shipped each. I'd still classify that as a great deal.
EDIT 2: See the comments on this post. Apparently at least one of the 3rd party resellers is claiming that this is a pricing error. If it's a pricing error... I think they should honor the price or, at the very least correct the product page.
Case of six stainless steel drip trays. These are marked down to $27.95. That's an 87% discount! Shipping is $8.99. That makes the total delivered cost $6.16 per drip tray! Why would you need 6 drip trays?? I don't know! But... this is a great deal!

ReplyDeleteI'm just hoping this isn't some sort of pricing mistake where they only ship one even though it states that it's a case of 6.
ReplyDeleteUpdate, this is an error by Amazon, this is not for 6 trays. I just got called by the merchant.
ReplyDeleteDang! I'll update the post.
DeleteThat doesn't make much sense to me as the retail price is $211. So, the normal retail price for a single tray is $211? That doesn't make any sense. This is a third party seller. The original pricing was from a different third party seller. In my opinion, the seller that's selling this via Amazon either needs to honor the price or withdraw their price so another seller shows up as the default option.
DeleteThe answer I got was that Amazon messed up the listings and added several sellers to the "Case of 6" listing when they were selling them singularly the entire time. That is why you see such a ridiculous discount. I don't feel like protesting enough to get the price honored as the $180 discount points to "price error", but I suppose there is a chance someone would honor it.
